• • The LNB is the device that allows you to run multiple receivers in your house from one satellite dish.
  • • Now the new LNB available on the DirecTV Slimline series of dishes allow you to run multiple signals down one physical cable and allows up to 8 receivers in your house.
  • • Keep in mind though that digital video recorders (DVRs) take up two receivers so the maximum number you could have would be 8 DVRs.
